Daily Practice
Integrate renunciation into the examen (B5). At the morning examen: renounce the spirits you expect to face today. At the evening examen: renounce specifically what attacked. Pairs with D8 (Renewal of the Mind) and B5.
Practical integration:
Morning (in the morning examen or your perimeter prayer from D8): a brief generic renunciation as you start the day. "In the name of Jesus, I renounce all spirits of fear, pride, vanity, and sloth that would oppose the will of God in my day today." Customise to your known weaknesses.
In the middle of an attack: the full renunciation drill from D7.02. Slow, deliberate, in the will. Spoken aloud if possible.
Evening (in the evening examen, B5): name what attacked today and renounce it specifically. "In the name of Jesus, I renounce the spirit of anxiety that I let in at 3 pm during the meeting." This is more powerful than the morning generic renunciation because it is specific to the actual attack.
Pair with D8 (Renewal of the Mind: Daily Defense). The renunciation removes the wrong; D8 supplies what to dwell on instead.
